Joining organizations together into one COVID-19 Task Force on Domestic Violence.
As COVID-19 response mandates entire communities to shelter in place, more and more survivors are deprived of critical out-of-home contexts and outlets through which to communicate and protect themselves from domestic violence and abuse.
In the wake of these changes, domestic violence organizations are working tirelessly to come up with innovative solutions to find and assist survivors, whether this be in crafting solutions to stem the spread of COVID-19 at shelters or in making sudden pivots to online services which, in of themselves, depend on an individual’s willingness to disclose some of their most personal information through screens and phones.
We want to know how you are adapting, so we can help other organizations adapt like you.

What we want to do:
Aggregate data on domestic violence across organizations to quantify the burden of domestic violence during COVID-19 through centralized survey and interview tools.
Crowdsource solutions to this problem across contexts to help organizations learn from one another.
Consolidate information on response resources into one easy-to-find place.
What we need from you:
Data on any observed changes in domestic violence reporting or resource requests from your organization.
Insight into the unique challenges posed to survivors and organizations during COVID-19.
Strategies and solutions your organization has found effective during this time.
What resources you need to further your cause.
