The Policy and Advocacy Team is a strategy-focused group aimed at amplifying the efforts of other teams and converting information and resources into direct collaboration and advocacy work.
Safenight Partnership
Partnering with Safe Night App, which provides DV survivors with one night hotel stays, in order to find organizations/shelters that may be interested in becoming a part of this incredible initiative.
Children's Book
Wrote, designed and digitized a children’s book, “Joan’s Covid Tale,” which contains camouflaged information about home safety strategies and stress coping techniques for children who are living in unstable homes with complex family dynamics.
Grocery Store Flyers
Designed a flyer with information regarding resources, mental health, and monetary aid for DV survivors. The flyers have been printed and posted in grocery stores across the United States.
Food Delivery Project
Partnering with food delivery organizations to distribute with their meals a “resource flyer” with crucial information about safety and resources. These resources have also been compiled and organized on our website.
College Resources
Using the list of resources that Content Development procured and distributing them to a wide range of colleges and universities, to use at their discretion.
